DON WATSON
Don Watson, REALTOR®
Las Vegas Realty Group
Meet Don Watson, his roots are in the MidWest, but his family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, while he was in college and he stayed. After obtaining a BA in International Business, his MBA was interrupted by a call to duty in the Armed Services. After completing two years in the service, including most of a year with the 101st Airborne in Vietnam, he went home to start his career in the Silicon Valley electronics business. Prior to retiring he had spent 17 years with Sun Microsystems, 12 of those years as a Senior Manager of Legal Operations Systems, which included all of the export licensing systems for over $2 Billion a year in International product sales and shipments. Real estate is his encore career, now for more than 10 years, and his only regret is that he did not start it sooner. Helping people find their dream home, or a second home, or an investment home provides him with lots of satisfaction. Whether you are buying your first or your one hundredth home, there are always obstacles to overcome, and Don thrives on solving those obstacles for his clients. Providing great service while helping clients achieve their dreams results in wonderful referrals. Happy clients produce more clients, and that makes him happy too. Please give him a chance to show you how he can help you with your real estate purchase(s). When not working with clients, Don is busy with the Las Vegas Host Lions Club where he's a Board Member. During the last 30 years he's held every officer position in a Lions Club and has served as the District Governor’s Secretary for the whole state of Nevada. Serving as a Trustee for the Lions Eye Foundation of California and Nevada, based in San Francisco, allows Don to help oversee this non profit organization which helps restore or preserve sight for many individuals in need of eye surgery, provided free of charge. Despite all of the above, twice a month you can find him as the Siena HOA Homeowner Forum Leader, which allows 2001 homeowners to voice their opinions about anything that they like, dislike, or want to change within their community. HOA Management and HOA Board Members often attend as ideas in the Forum generally find their way into changes for their residents. On a final note, Don and his wife will be celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary in 2026.
